Insight Institute of Neuroscience & Neurosurgery (IINN) in Flint, MI seeks a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support a fast-paced, patient-centered rehab program. You will work with therapists to deliver safe, effective treatments and ensure smooth scheduling for patients and staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and compassionate patient care in a comprehensive therapy setting. Must hold Michigan PTA license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current State of Michigan PTA license required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelors Degree preferred; diploma in physical therapy assistance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, motivate, safeguard, and assist patients during exercises or activities.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, and nursing staff to plan and coordinate treatment.
• Transport and transfer patients following positioning requirements.
• Administer manual therapies including heat, ultrasound, and electrical modalities.
• Educate caregivers on treatment plans to maximize patient care.
• Record measurements and vital signs to assess treatment effects.
• Monitor equipment usage and therapy administration.
• Provide aquatic therapy when needed.
