Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will work with patients referred by physicians in accordance with Life Care standards.

The ideal candidate has an accredited PTA program completion and current licensure; new graduates welcome. CPR certification is required by hire and maintained during employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT).
• Licensed/registered in the applicable state and maintain an active license.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follow PT treatment plans under the supervision of the licensed PT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
