Job summary
Avante Orthopaedics, a forward-thinking orthopedic center in College Park, Maryland, is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our growing team and help shape an integrated rehabilitation program. Qualifications
- DPT or PT from an accredited program is required.
- Active Maryland PT license or eligibility is required.
- Strong background in orthopedics, manual therapy, and sports rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with orthopedic, sports, and post-surgical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, and athletic trainers to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients on exercise, posture, and injury prevention to promote long-term wellness.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and contribute to quality improvement.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR.
- Support program development for onsite rehabilitation and community outreach.
