Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Valdosta Holly Hill location to evaluate, treat, and support residents with compassionate care. You will adhere to individualized care plans, complete timely documentation, and follow all practice policies within a post-acute setting.

Requirements include a CAPTE-accredited PT degree and an active state license. Foreign-trained applicants must have equivalent U.S. education credentials as approved by the APTA.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Valid state license to practice as a PT.
• If foreign-trained, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to U.S. PT education by a credential evaluation organization approved by the APTA.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized physical therapy care plan.
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment.
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor.
