Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support skilled nursing facility patients in Valdosta, GA. You will work under aPT's supervision to implement the treatment plan, document progress, and respond to patient priorities.

Applicants must hold a Georgia PTA license and graduate from a CAPTE-accredited program; relocation opportunities may be available as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid professional license in the state of practice (Georgia).
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA program; if foreign-trained, equivalent credentials must be documented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the Physical Therapy care plan as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician according to state practice acts.
• Perform clinical tasks, documentation, and timely communication per policy.
• Follow established policies and procedures related to scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care.
• Complete orientation, trainings, and related requirements timely.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
