Job summary

Gulf Coast Village Home Health in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for PRN schedule to provide skilled PT services for residents under a medically approved Plan of Care.

Requirements include Florida licensure, a minimum of 1 year of PT experience, CPR certification, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of PT principles is essential. Join our mission-driven team in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy program approved by major US certifying bodies.
• Current Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge in the principles and practices of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy assessments, diagnostic tests, skilled procedures, and ongoing evaluation under a Plan of Care.
• Implements teaching appropriate to the resident’s needs and environment.
• Assists in development, implementation, and evaluation of ongoing quality improvement.
• Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for residents and coworkers.
• Supervises applicable team members; supervises PT assistants as directed.
• Evaluates employee performance and provides timely reviews where delegated.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
