Job summary

HealthCare Therapy Service (HTS) in Rushville, IN seeks a Licensed PTA for a full-time role in a skilled nursing and senior living community. This position includes treating diverse caseloads across short-term rehab and long-term care with guaranteed minimum hours and a strong benefits package.

The PTA will also serve as Lead Therapist, attending meetings, following up on referrals, planning minutes, and communicating issues to the Regional Director.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana PTA license or eligibility to earn licensure.
• Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program and passing the state exam.
• Compliance with Indiana licensure requirements.

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full Time

HTS is now hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work at a skilled nursing and senior living community in Rushville, IN (less than 50 miles southeast of Indianapolis). The PTA will treat a diverse caseload from short term rehab, long term care and assisted living populations. HTS offers a competitive hourly rate for this full-time position, with a minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed. This PTA will also be Lead Therapist for the facility. Treat patients for a majority of the work hours while also performing Lead Therapist duties such as attending facility and team meetings, following up on therapy referrals, planning minutes and reporting any issues to Regional Director.

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Indiana Physical Therapist Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education-accredited physical therapist assistant education program, subsequent passing of a state-administered national exam, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
