Job summary

HealthPro Heritage, LLC is seeking a PRN Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) in Mansura, LA. The role offers weekend or weekday availability with compensation at $40–$42 per hour, in a skilled nursing facility setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting and a valid state licensure, or is license eligible. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver therapy services and document patient progress per facility standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program is required.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists and provide direct patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, document observations, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Documentation: Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
