HealthPro Heritage is seeking a part-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in New Orleans, LA. The role involves assisting in AL/IL/Memory Care settings with patient care, documentation, and collaboration with the care team to support therapy plans.

The position offers 20–25 hours per week, with a pay range of $33–$37 per hour and a flexible Mon/Wed/Fri schedule. A strong focus on compassionate, team-based care is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license-eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, educate patients and families on treatment protocols and self-care.
• Accurately document patient treatments and outcomes in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

HealthPro Heritage has a great part‑time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) Opportunity in New Orleans, LA.

• Setting: Beautiful Skilled Nursing Facility located in New Orleans, that also includes Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care.
• Treating for this position is not limited to, but will be mainly needed for, the AL/IL/ Memory Care portions of the community.
• Pay Range: $33-$37 per hour
• Hours: 20-25 hours per week
• Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri (Flexible) / 10-4 (Flexible)

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
