Responsibilities

• Performs patient treatment and objective data gathering under supervision.
• Documents patient care and billing information timely per department standards.
• Communicates with co-workers, physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care.
• Functions as a team member in care of patients and mentoring with staff.
• Delegates non-patient care tasks to support staff as appropriate.
• Maintains clinical productivity standards.
• Maintains technical clinical expertise through ongoing education.
• Participates in in-services, staff meetings, quality activities and program development.
• Maintains patient safety and confidentiality per HFHS HIPAA policies.

Physical Therapist Assistant Associate’s degree (CAPTE accredited)

Current State of Michigan licensure
