Qualifications

• PTA degree from CAPTE-accredited program.
• Active Michigan PTA license required.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and documents patient data and performs treatments under PT supervision.
• Documents patient care and billing timely per department standards.
• Communicates with colleagues and physicians to ensure optimal patient care.
• Works as part of a care team and mentors other staff.
• Delegates non-patient tasks to support staff as appropriate.
• Maintains clinical productivity standards.
• Maintains technical clinical expertise through ongoing education.
• Participates in in-services, staff meetings, and quality activities.
• Ensures patient safety and proper use of equipment.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA and HFHS policies.
• Complies with HFHS policies, code of conduct, and regulatory requirements.
