Job summary

FPACP Cedar Bayou LLC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehab team. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will implement treatment plans to restore mobility, strength and function for our patients in a long-term care setting.

The role involves guiding patients through exercise programs, applying modalities, and assisting in gait training while maintaining safety and documentation per policy.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current PTA license/registration in state of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercise programs (aerobic, resistance, mobility).
• Apply modalities (heat, cold, electrical stimulation) as prescribed.
• Assist in gait training and ambulation activities.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment; ensure sterile procedures.
