Job summary

FPACP is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Rehab team. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will deliver treatment to patients to regain mobility, increase strength and reduce pain, following established plans and procedures.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant, current state licensure, and the ability to guide patients through exercise programs, apply modalities, and maintain accurate patient charts while promoting

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Current license/registration by state of hire as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Guides patients through prescribed exercise programs, including passive, assistive, and resistive exercises.
• Applies heat, light, water, and electrical modalities as prescribed.
• Assists in gait training to improve ambulatory skills.
• Maintains treatment areas and records patient responses to treatment.
