Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for home health services. You will perform treatments, provide exercise instruction and patient education under the plan of care, working within state-specific PT regulations.

This full-time role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and detailed compensation structure, including per-visit and hourly pay, with benefits and a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed PTA to assist in physical therapy in state of practice.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Weekend rotation availability.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and follow the treatment plan defined by the supervising PT; make recommendations for changes in the plan of care.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional activities and transfers.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
• Instruct patients, families, and other caregivers in therapy within the PTA scope of practice.
• Function in home settings regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
