Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through At Home Healthcare, a national post-acute care partner, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the plan of care, provide exercise instruction and patient education in home care.

You will follow the supervising PT, comply with state laws, and work across diverse home settings. The role offers a competitive pay range, comprehensive benefits, and weekend rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed/registered/certified to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification or obtained by date of hire.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home health PT, perform only supervised/allowed procedures.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and transfer training.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses; coordinate care with PT and healthcare team.
• Educate patient, family, and care team on therapy within PTA scope.
