Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a part of a growing outpatient team to hire a Physical Therapist Assistant. The PTA will support orthopedics and sports medicine care, collaborate with therapists, and help improve patient flow. Growth opportunities exist as the clinic expands in the region.

New grads are welcome; NJ PTA license is required or pending. The role emphasizes excellent communication, teamwork, and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding plans of care and progression of exercises for each patient.
• Assist with progress notes and re-evaluations to improve patient flow and satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with chiropractors, acupuncturists, and occupational therapists to ensure quality patient care.
• Complete notes timely to ensure collaborative care.
• Engage in CEUs to advance clinic excellence.
• Attend monthly meetings to address clinic challenges and improve flow.
• Participate in company-wide meetings to discuss initiatives.

• Participate in monthly meetings led by the Clinic Director and Office Manager to identify challenges within the clinic to address and improve clinic flow.
• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.
