Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team in New Jersey. We are an outpatient practice with a focus on orthopedic and sports-related injuries, offering mentorship and opportunities across nearby locations.

We provide state-of-the-art facilities and a pathway for professional development, welcoming both new grads and experienced PTAs. Pay ranges from $33.00 to $38.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• New Jersey PTA license is required.
• New grads and experienced PTAs are welcome.
• Computer literacy required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding plans of care and progression of exercises and goals for each patient.
• Assist with progress notes and re-evaluations to improve patient flow and satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, and Occupational Therapists to ensure quality patient care.
• Complete notes thoroughly and timely to support collaborative care.
• Advance clinic through CEUs and ongoing professional development.
• Attend monthly and company-wide meetings to address clinic challenges and initiatives.

• Participate in monthly meetings led by the Clinic Director and Office Manager to identify challenges within the clinic to address and improve clinic flow.
• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.
