SportsMed Physical Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing outpatient team. We offer a collaborative environment with mentorship and opportunities for advancement.

Pay is $33.00–$38.00 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off, a 401k match, and CEU reimbursement.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant License is required.
• New grads and experienced PTAs are welcome.
• Computer literacy and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding plans of care and progression of exercises and goals for each patient.
• Assist with progress notes and re-evaluations to improve patient flow and increase patient satisfaction.
• Maintain high levels of communication with chiropractors, acupuncturists, and occupational therapists to ensure quality patient care.
• Complete notes thoroughly and timely to ensure collaborative care is maintained.
• Pursue clinic advancement through CEUs and ongoing professional development.
• Attend monthly meetings to address clinic challenges and improve workflow.
• Participate in company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.

• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.
