Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Lead patients through prescribed exercises and activities, instructing and monitoring their progress.
• Apply treatment modalities properly, monitor responses, and adjust as needed.
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention, body mechanics, and pain management.
• Monitor and document patient progress, communicating regularly with the supervising therapist.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license/certification in the state of practice.
