Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing outpatient team. We are a multidisciplinary practice with state-of-the-art equipment, offering mentorship and opportunities for career advancement.

New grads and experienced PTAs are welcome; NJ license is required. Compensation ranges from $33 to $38 per hour, plus health, retirement, paid leave, and CEU reimbursement, with room to develop clinical skills.

Qualifications

• New Jersey PTA license is required.
• New grads and experienced PTAs are welcome.
• Computer literacy required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding plans of care and progression of exercises and goals for each patient.
• Assist with progress notes and re-evaluations to improve patient flow and increase patient satisfaction.
• Maintain high levels of communication with other service providers to ensure quality patient care.
• Complete notes thoroughly and timely to support collaborative care.
• Pursue clinic advancement through CEUs and ongoing education.
• Attend monthly meetings to identify challenges and improve clinic flow.
• Participate in company-wide initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence.

• Participate in monthly meetings led by the Clinic Director and Office Manager to identify challenges within the clinic to address and improve clinic flow.
• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.
