SportsMed Physical Therapy in Toms River, NJ is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join the outpatient team, with potential for full-time hours. New Jersey PTA license is required; new graduates and experienced PTAs are welcome.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding plans of care and progression of exercises and goals for each patient.
• Assist with progress notes and re-evaluations to improve patient flow and increase patient satisfaction.
• Maintain high levels of communication with other service providers such as chiropractors, acupuncturists, and occupational therapists to ensure quality patient care.
• Complete notes thoroughly and within a timely manner to ensure that collaborative care is maintained between other therapists.
• Work toward the advancement of the clinic by maintaining clinical excellence through various CEUs.
• Participate in monthly meetings led by the Clinic Director and Office Manager to identify challenges within the clinic to address and improve clinic flow.
• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.
