Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy is a leading outpatient practice in the Northeast seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team in New Jersey. We provide state of the art equipment and multidisciplinary care, with mentorship from regional leadership to advance your career.

New grads and experienced PTAs are welcome. Earn $33.00–$38.00 per hour with a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, plus paid vacation, sick time and holidays.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant License is required.
• New grads and experienced PTAs are welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Computer literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding plans of care and progression of exercises and goals for each patient.
• Assist with progress notes and re-evaluations to improve patient flow and increase patient satisfaction.
• Maintain high levels of communication with Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, and Occupational Therapists to ensure quality patient care.
• Complete notes thoroughly and in a timely manner to support collaborative care.
• Support clinic advancement by pursuing CEUs and staying clinically excellent.
• Attend monthly meetings with the Clinic Director and Office Manager to address clinic challenges and improve flow.
• Participate in company-wide meetings to discuss initiatives and improve patient care.

• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.
