Job summary

Sunset Ridge Health & Rehab in Bloomsburg, PA is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will provide skilled PT services under a licensed PT, helping residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current or eligible Pennsylvania PTA license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, positive, and team-oriented approach.
• SNF/LTC experience is a plus, but we welcome candidates who are excited to grow in this setting.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help residents improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
• Follow established plans of care and communicate resident progress with the supervising PT.
• Accurately document treatments and progress using Net Health.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate and encourage residents throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, federal, and professional standards.
