Prava seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to join Cambridge Village of Wilmington, NC full-time. You’ll be a clinical presence within the Cambridge Village community, building relationships with residents, families, and staff while delivering personalized PT across functional goals.
Use advanced documentation tools, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to a wellness-minded, Optimal Living® community that prioritizes independence and quality of life.
What if your next PT job felt less like a clinic—and more like a community?
At Prava, we believe physical therapy in senior living should be about much more than treating an impairment.
It should be about helping people keep doing the things they love.
Walking to dinner.
Getting to the pool.
Joining an exercise class.
Going out with friends.
Taking a trip to Wrightsville Beach.
Moving confidently through their home.
Living independently for as long as possible.
That is why we're looking for a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at Cambridge Village of Wilmington.
This is not a traditional senior living environment.
Cambridge Village is an active, resort-style retirement community built around its Optimal Living® philosophy—with fitness, wellness programming, dining, social activities, enrichment, and on-site healthcare designed to help residents live life to the fullest.
And that's exactly where we believe great physical therapy belongs.
They're already living.
Your job is to help them keep doing it.
As a Prava Physical Therapist, you'll become an important clinical presence within the Cambridge Village community.
You'll build relationships with residents, families, wellness professionals, community leadership, and other clinicians.
You'll learn what matters to the people who live there.
And you'll use your clinical expertise to help them stay strong, mobile, confident, and independent.
Evaluate residents and develop individualized plans of care
Provide skilled physical therapy across a range of functional needs
Treat balance, gait, strength, mobility, endurance, and functional limitations
Help residents recover after illness, injury, hospitalization, or other changes in function
Develop treatment plans around meaningful functional goals
Provide resident and caregiver education
Collaborate closely with community staff and other healthcare professionals
Identify changes in mobility or function that may benefit from intervention
Support fall prevention, mobility, and wellness initiatives
Participate in the community when opportunities arise—not just in the therapy space
Communicate clearly with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Use Prava's technology and AI-enabled documentation tools to reduce administrative burden
Deliver care that is clinically excellent, compassionate, and highly individualized
At Cambridge Village, residents have access to fitness centers, indoor saltwater pools, group exercise, personal training, social events, outings, educational programming, and an active community lifestyle.
So ask yourself:
What does this resident want to keep doing?
Maybe it's water aerobics.
Maybe it's walking the halls with friends every morning.
Maybe it's getting down to the restaurant without assistance.
Maybe it's traveling.
Maybe it's simply feeling confident in their own body again.
That's the difference between treating a diagnosis and treating a person.
You're someone who:
Holds a current North Carolina Physical Therapist license
Loves working with older adults
Has strong clinical judgment
Thinks functionally and understands the importance of meaningful outcomes
Builds relationships naturally
Communicates exceptionally well
Is comfortable working independently
Enjoys collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
Is curious and committed to continued clinical growth
Believes residents deserve to be challenged appropriately—not simply protected from activity
Understands that independence is something worth fighting for
Senior living experience is a plus.
But it's not the only thing we're looking for.
If you're an excellent clinician who wants to learn a different way of practicing, we'd like to meet you.
Because we believe clinicians should spend more time being clinicians.
Prava provides the infrastructure behind the practice so you can focus on the people in front of you.
Our platform brings together EMR, workflows, and AI-enabled documentation designed specifically for rehabilitation.
You won't be practicing alone. You'll have access to clinical standards, resources, mentorship, and a team committed to helping you grow.
Credentialing, billing, revenue cycle, technology, and other administrative functions are supported by Prava.
You're not a therapist passing through a building.
You're part of the community.
You'll become a familiar face.
A trusted resource.
Someone residents and staff know they can turn to.
You can build a career without having to leave clinical practice behind.
As Prava grows, there will be opportunities for mentorship, clinical leadership, community development, and more.
We want you thinking about:
Who walks a little farther because of me?
Who feels a little stronger?
Who has more confidence?
Who gets to keep doing something they thought they were losing?
That's the work.
And at Cambridge Village, there's an extraordinary opportunity to do it.
