Job summary

Cambridge Village of Wilmington is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our therapy team. You will work under a Physical Therapist to provide functional, resident-centered care for seniors in a vibrant continuing care environment.

You will help residents improve mobility, balance, and endurance, while collaborating with nursing, families, and wellness staff to support independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Holds a current North Carolina PTA license and is registered where required.
• Loves working with older adults and values meaningful engagement.
• Confident clinically with a desire to learn and grow.
• Builds genuine relationships with residents and families.
• Communicates effectively with families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Understands therapy should be functional and purposeful.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PT interventions under the direction of the Physical Therapist.

• Implement individualized care plans with clinical judgment and resident goals.
• Monitor and communicate changes in resident condition and functional status.
• Provide resident and caregiver education; reinforce home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with nursing, families, wellness staff, and other team members.
• Participate in fall prevention, mobility and wellness initiatives.

Prava is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team at Cambridge Village of Wilmington.

What you’ll do

You’ll work alongside the Physical Therapist to provide exceptional, functional care to residents throughout the community.

You’ll:

• Provide skilled PT interventions under the direction of the Physical Therapist

Senior living experience is a plus, but not required.
