Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide order processing support for fulfillment and assist with prescription preparation using the fulfillment system. You will follow SOPs and comply with HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities include processing registrations, entering refill orders, resolving data-entry issues, labeling, packing and shipping prescriptions, and assisting pharmacists. You must obtain an active technician license within 90 days and maintain it.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• PTCB/ExCPT certification preferred.
• Experience in pharmacy/fulfillment environment preferred.
• HIPAA knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process new patient registrations and refill orders per procedures.
• Troubleshoot data-entry issues and interpret SIG codes.
• Run automated machinery, sort medications, and manage inventory workflow.
• Count, label, pack, and ship prescriptions; maintain a clean work area.
• Assist pharmacists at the facility and other locations; escalate issues.
• Obtain active technician license within 90 days and maintain it.
