Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Florida. You will maintain floor stock, prep for prescriptions, and ship medications while supporting our CARE culture of Commitment, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.

Evening shift 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends offers a hands-on role in a busy pharmacy, with opportunities to handle controlled substances and data entry duties while upholding pharmacy standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
