Job summary

Hy-Vee's Fairfield, IA pharmacy is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join a fast-paced retail team. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel customers, and support wellness programs in the store's health services expansion.

You'll collaborate with staff, manage immunizations as certified, and maintain HIPAA privacy while delivering exceptional service aligned with Hy-Vee's promise of a helpful smile in every aisle.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and licensure required; continuing education to keep license active.
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) experience preferred.
• Ability to administer immunizations is required.

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and merchandising.
• Administer immunizations as certified and maintain HIPAA privacy.
• Provide excellent customer service and wellness counseling to customers.
• Support pharmacy team with training and development.
• Communicate with Pharmacy Manager about changes and issues.
