Specialty Rx, INC. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Texas to ensure safe and effective medication use in hospital and long-term care settings.

You will review orders, verify dosing, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient therapy. Ideal candidates will have long-term care experience and a background in hospital or retail pharmacy, with strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.

Formación

• Texas Pharmacist License required.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Hospital or Retail pharmacy experience beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Review medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions and administration.
• Ensure dispensed medications are correctly supplied and labeled.
• Notify physicians about therapy changes when needed.
• Maintain patients' medical histories and related data.
• Respond to medication-related inquiries from staff.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and physicians on medication issues.
• Supervise medicine preparation and ensure safety.
• Maintain register of controlled drugs and security measures.
• Be available for on-call duties when required.
