Job summary

The Derek Stein Agency in Michigan is seeking a Licensed Insurance Account Manager to join our Personal Lines team. You will support both new and existing personal lines accounts while collaborating with the sales team to deliver outstanding service.

You must have an Active Michigan Property & Casualty license and 2+ years of related experience. This on-site role offers a competitive salary and benefits, with growth opportunities within an established agency.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Property & Casualty License is REQUIRED.
• 2+ years of experience in personal lines account management or related client service role.
• Experience with carrier quoting platforms and agency management systems.
• Strong knowledge of personal insurance products (auto, homeowners, renters, umbrella).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with multiple computer systems and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines clients.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and billing inquiries.
• Quote and rate insurance policies accurately and efficiently.
• Partner with the sales team to support new business opportunities.
• Build lasting client relationships through proactive communication and outstanding service.
• Assess clients' evolving insurance needs and recommend coverage solutions.
• Contribute to client retention with a positive customer experience.
