Job summary

Metal Building Industries (MBI) seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to lead PEMB projects in Oklahoma. You will develop structural designs, perform analyses, review documents for code compliance, and seal drawings in line with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and PE license.
• 3+ years of PEMB or related structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency with PEMB design software and code standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs and engineering calculations for PEMB projects.
• Perform structural analysis and ensure compliance with building codes and design standards.
• Review project requirements, contract documents, specifications, and design criteria.
• Identify constructability concerns and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Review and seal engineering documents in accordance with licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with the Design Team to create efficient detailing solutions.
• Respond to RFIs and provide technical support to stakeholders.
• Execute QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy of deliverables.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Manage project priorities while maintaining quality, schedule, and customer expectations.
