Job summary

Wolfe House & Building Movers seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on engineering support for heavy transport, lifting, and rigging projects. This role involves designing specialized lifting equipment and plans for structural moving, with collaboration across operations and project management to deliver practical, compliant solutions.

Candidates must hold a P.E., be eligible to work in the United States, and have a civil or mechanical engineering

Qualifications

• P.E. licensed in the US and eligible to work.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in structural analysis, equipment design, or transportation engineering.
• Experience with manufacturing design or traffic plans preferred.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, CAD, or similar engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Develop lifting, rigging, transport, or traffic control plans for heavy projects.
• Perform structural, mechanical, or load analysis to verify safety and performance.
• Collaborate with operations, project managers, and field personnel to develop practical solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
• Design and refine specialized equipment used in heavy lifting and transport.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Support continuous improvement through innovative engineering.
