Job summary

Paradigm Recovery Center, a startup behavioral health outpatient provider in Missouri, seeks an Outpatient Clinician to deliver individual and group therapy, conduct biopsychosocial assessments, and develop treatment plans within ASAM 2.5 and 2.1. The clinician will document in the EHR, ensure compliance, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, care coordination, discharge planning, and client education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field is required.
• Missouri license or license-eligible status (LPC/PLPC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/PLMFT) is required.
• Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment is required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy sessions in line with ASAM 2.5 and 2.1 requirements.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate therapeutic groups as assigned.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic impressions.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Complete clinical documentation in the EHR timely and accurately.
• Ensure documentation meets Missouri regulations and payer standards.
• Maintain HIPAA and confidentiality compliance.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and supervision.
• Coordinate care with medical, case management, and peer staff.
• Communicate client progress and safety concerns.
• Support engagement and retention in treatment.
• Assist with discharge planning and referrals.
• Educate clients and families on recovery resources.
• Contribute to clinical workflow and program development.
• Support quality improvement and survey readiness.
