Job summary

Montefiore is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care, evaluate and treat patients, and mentor OTA students. The role includes equipment assessment and comprehensive documentation as part of daily responsibilities, with attendance at departmental education and continuing education activities.

The candidate must hold a NYS OT license, be registered, and have familiarity with therapeutic equipment; prior related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• NYS OT License and current registration is required.
• Familiar with therapeutic equipment.
• Prior work experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including evaluation, treatment, equipment assessment and documentation.
• Maintains own patient schedules and utilizes time efficiently.
• Maintains accurate patient records, statistical reports and other documentation related to patient care.
• Attends departmental educational activities including in-services, and continuing education.
