Insights Psychological Services, PLLC is seeking one full-time Clinical or Counseling Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow for the 2027–2028 training year. Please share this opportunity with candidates interested in deepening their psychodynamic practice within a supportive, fully remote group private practice.
Beginning September 6, 2027, this 12-month fellowship focuses on relational telepsychotherapy with adults and/or couples, including college and graduate students and high-achieving professionals. Fellows work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, perfectionism, relational trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
At Insights, our central value is the relationship. We prioritize authentic connections, self-reflection, cultural humility, and a psychologically safe environment for clients and staff. Regular check-ins, team gatherings, and shared celebrations help build community within our virtual practice.
The fellowship involves approximately 35–40 hours per week, with a gradual increase to 20–22 billable clinical hours while scheduling approximately 24 clients weekly. Fellows receive administrative and billing support, thoughtful client screening and matching, and a structured onboarding process. There may be an opportunity to continue as an advanced postdoctoral clinician following the training year.
Applicants must have completed a PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program and a one-year APA-accredited internship, and be eligible to accrue hours toward Massachusetts licensure. We seek candidates with at least three years of experience working with young adults, adults, and/or couples, and a strong interest in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
Ideal candidates are self-reflective, organized, culturally humble, open to examining countertransference, and interested in collaborative learning. Prior experience providing telepsychotherapy to adults is preferred.
The fellowship is not APA-accredited or an APPIC member program; it will follow APPIC Selection Standards. Interviews will be conducted virtually, with an estimated offer date of February 8, 2027.
