Job summary

LensCrafters is hiring a full-time Store Associate for Store #000228 in Danbury, CT. You will welcome customers, accurately fit glasses, and record precise lens measurements to ensure eyewear meets standards and customer needs.

The role requires HS diploma, state licensure, optical dispensing experience, strong customer service, and familiarity with POS and iPad/tablet. You’ll develop product knowledge and contribute to brand KPIs in a busy, team-focused store environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service: communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Basic math skills and ability to use POS and calculators.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers, set expectations with customers.
• Custom fit glasses & precisely place prescription in lenses.
• Acts as a leader in optical acumen.
• Take & record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensure finished eyewear meets standards & customer needs.
• Assists team with complex product needs & prescriptions.
• Accurate & thorough use of technology despite time pressure & customer volume, exceptional product knowledge, use of appropriate tools.
• Proactive, explores root cause of issues, forward thinking, ensures customers are satisfied & expectations are exceeded, solution driven.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize & manage time with competing priorities.
