Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a full-time Licensed Optician to join our team in Florida. You will expertly fit prescription eyewear, take precise measurements, and provide outstanding customer service while using iPad/tablet tech and POS systems.

Prior dispensing experience and a valid state license are required. You will help maintain store standards, assist with product knowledge and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• State Licensure is required.
• Optical dispensing experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and team-building skills.
• Familiarity with POS, iPad/tablet and calculators is expected.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescription in lenses accurately.
• Lead with optical knowledge and assist with complex product needs.
• Record measurements and ensure eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
• Maintain store appearance and follow safety practices.
• Use technology efficiently under time pressure and high customer volume.
• Strive to achieve Brand KPIs and customer satisfaction.
