LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician in Plantation, FL to deliver exceptional customer service and precisely fit eyewear. You will record measurements, adjust frames, and ensure finished products meet high standards while leveraging the latest eyewear technology.
The role requires state licensure and optical dispensing experience, with strong math skills and a customer-focused approach. Experience with iPad/tablet and POS systems is beneficial for daily transactions.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- State Licensure for optical dispensing required.
- Experience dispensing lenses and fittings in a retail setting.
- Ability to use iPad/tablet for transactions and fittings.
- Knowledge of current eyewear products and fashion trends.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and set expectations for service.
- Custom fit glasses and place prescription precisely in lenses.
- Lead in optical acumen and handle measurements accurately.
- Record measurements and adjust eyewear for proper fit.
- Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
- Maintain store appearance and inventory controls.
- Meet brand KPIs and demonstrate safe work practices.
