Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Asheville, NC is seeking an Optical Dispensing professional to welcome customers, confirm prescriptions, and accurately fit eyewear.

You will take measurements, adjust glasses, and use an iPad/tablet and POS systems to ensure precise results while delivering outstanding service.

A high school diploma, state licensure, optical dispensing experience and strong math and communication skills are required; prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure required for optical dispensing.
• Experience in optical dispensing and strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescription in lenses.
