Job summary

EssilorLuxottica's LensCrafters in Rochester, NY is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver high-quality eyewear and legendary customer service. You will accurately fit glasses, take measurements, and use iPads/tablets to record prescriptions and manage orders.

In this role, you’ll leverage optical knowledge to ensure products meet standards and customer needs, while maintaining store appearance, adhering to policies, and supporting sales goals. High school diploma and state licensure required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• State Licensure required.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers, set expectations with customers.
• Custom fit glasses & precisely place prescription in lenses.
• Acts as a leader in optical acumen.
• Take & record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail.
• Assist team with complex product needs & prescriptions.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure safety and organization.
