Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses
• Act as a leader in optical acumen
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions
• Accurately and thoroughly use technology despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, use appropriate tools
• Be proactive, explore root cause of issues, forward‑thinking, ensuring customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded, solution driven
• Manage multiple priorities, prioritize and manage time with competing demands
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies
• Take pride in store appearance, help keep store clean, attractive and organized
• Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices
• Be resourceful, self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement and results
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management

Basic Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• State licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder
• Knowledge of current store merchandise
• Strong basic math skills
• Awareness of current fashion trends
• Sales skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators
• Embrace new technology and change

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service and retail experience

Pay Range: –34.14 (Note: Pay range may vary based on locality, experience and qualifications. Employees may receive a bonus or commission plan and a comprehensive benefits package including health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation and employee discounts.)
