LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a Licensed Optician to deliver exceptional service and precisely fit eyewear. The role emphasizes expert optical knowledge, accurate measurements, and exemplary customer interactions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Strong selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen.
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology accurately despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and appropriate tools.
• Proactively explore root cause of issues, forward thinking, ensuring customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded, solution driven.
• Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities.
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
• Take pride in store appearance, help keep store clean, attractive and organized.
• Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices.
• Be resourceful, self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement and results.
• Adhere to company policies and procedure, including discounts, promotions and inventory management.

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $25.02–$39.02 hourly.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first‑class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
