Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is hiring a Licensed Optician in Santa Ana. You will deliver legendary customer service, custom fit glasses and place prescriptions accurately to meet standards and customer needs.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking measurements, and using iPad/tablet and POS to assist with complex eyewear requests while maintaining store appearance and brand standards. State licensure and optical dispensing experience required.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers, setting expectations with them
• Custom fit glasses & precisely place prescription in lenses
• Act as a leader in optical acumen
• Take & record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards & customer needs
• Assist team with complex product needs & prescriptions
• Use technology accurately and efficiently despite time pressure & customer volume, displaying exceptional product knowledge and use of appropriate tools
• Proactively explore root cause of issues, ensuring customers are satisfied & expectations are exceeded, and providing solution‑driven service
• Multi‑task, prioritize & manage time with competing priorities
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs & competencies
• Take pride in store appearance, helping to keep the store clean, attractive & organized
• Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices
• Be resourceful, self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement & results

Basic Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• State licensure
• Optical dispensing experience

• Sales skills – ability to use & carry an iPad/tablet

Pay Range: 25.02–39.02
