America’s Best in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Optician to assist customers with eyewear selection and dispensing, including contact lens training and product education. You will deliver exceptional service while meeting store goals and maintaining accurate patient records.

Join a team focused on quality care, inventory management, and adherence to safety standards. The role may involve mentoring Apprentices where permitted by law and supporting store performance.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by the state.
• 3+ years related experience or training (required).
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Confident selling skills with the ability to meet store goals.
• Organized, detail-minded, and able to multitask in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including insertion/removal training and product education.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up, including notifications and weekly outreach.
