Job summary

America’s Best is seeking an Optician to dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses while delivering exceptional customer service. You will help customers select products, train on lens insertion/removal, and support store performance.

In this role you will maintain patient records, meet sales goals, and mentor Apprentice Opticians where permitted by law. A state dispensing license is required and prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by the state.
• Experience in optical retail or related setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and sales abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including training.
• Deliver excellent service while meeting sales goals and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up with notifications.
• Support quality and safety standards and follow company policies.
• Maintain inventory, merchandising, and a clean work environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians where permitted by law.
