You will take precise measurements, fit eyewear, share product knowledge, and support the team in achieving store KPIs while maintaining a welcoming and attractive store environment. This part-time role offers benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelors are not required; High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• State Licensure is required to practice as an Optician.
• Optical dispensing experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Selling skills and ability to use an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.
• Previous customer service and retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Lead with optical acumen.
• Take and record measurements; adjust eyewear.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology accurately under time pressure and with knowledge.
• Maintain store appearance; keep store clean, attractive and organized.
• Inform management of safety opportunities and follow safety practices.
