Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain applicable state licensure for ophthalmic dispensing.
• Ability to explain optical products, services and the analysis/interpretation of prescriptions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with frame and lens selection.
• Ensure compliance with social distancing and hygiene practices.
• Provide accurate information on frames, lens selections and services.
• Explain insurance benefits and potential charges not covered by insurance.
• Utilize SERVE sales process to identify needs and recommend lenses.
• Interpret prescriptions and coordinate with Lab and Optometrist for accuracy.
• Sell, fit and dispense frames and accessories with precise measurements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly dispensing area.
• Ensure pricing accuracy for retail customers.
