America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Optician to dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses, train customers in lens insertion/removal, and support store performance with exceptional service.

You will maintain patient records, manage order follow-up, and help reduce remakes while upholding safety standards and company policies. This role offers growth with ample training and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by state.
• 3+ years related experience or training (required).
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Confident selling skills with ability to meet store goals.
• Organized, detail-minded, and able to multitask in a busy setting.
• Professional, friendly, and comfortable working with a variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including insertion/removal training and product education.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up, including notifications and weekly outreach.
• Support quality and operational excellence by reducing remakes, following safety standards, and adhering to company policies.
• Maintain inventory control, merchandising standards, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
