Job summary

For Eyes in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver exceptional service and expertly fit eyewear. You will greet customers, take measurements, and ensure accurate prescriptions and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include customizing fits, explaining lens options, and meeting brand KPIs while maintaining store standards and a welcoming shopping experience for all customers.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• State Licensure as an Optician is required.
• Optical dispensing experience is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems and calculators is required.
• Ability to use an iPad/tablet for sales is needed.
• Knowledge of current eyewear trends is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and provides Legendary service.
• Custom fits glasses and processes prescriptions.
• Explains features/benefits of eyewear and brands.
• Records measurements and ensures proper fit.
• Sells products 80–100% of the time.
• Maintains store appearance and brand standards.
