Role Overview

The Licensed Optician helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision care by delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality eyewear that exceeds expectations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Welcome customers and set expectations.
2. Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
3. Lead with optical expertise.
4. Take measurements, adjust/fit eyewear, and ensure standards and customer needs are met.
5. Assist with complex product needs and prescriptions.
6. Use technology accurately under time pressure, demonstrating product knowledge.
7. Identify root causes of issues, proactively ensure customer satisfaction, and provide solutions.
8. Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
9. Achieve results on KPIs and competencies.
10. Maintain store appearance and safety practices.
11. Be resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning.
12. Follow company policies on discounts, promotions, and inventory.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• State Licensure
• Experience in optical dispensing
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of store merchandise
• Basic math skills
